Hi, I am Anita Malviya, working as an ASHA worker in a small village of Madhya Pradesh. I have been using menstrual cup from past two years. Before that I had no choice but to use kapra (cloth) during my period times. Luckily I got introduced to the organisation ‘Lal Sakhi’ which gave me & a lot of other women the training and right knowledge about menstrual hygiene. I also got to know about menstrual cups for the first time in my life. This brought a big change in my life too. The hygiene I have observed during my menstruation cycle now is amazing. As I had to work during COVID-19, the menstrual cup helped me alot. As once you wear it there is no need to change it again and again even if you are at your workplace.Today I am a proud CHANGE AGENT, spreading awareness about the safe use of menstrual cups in my village. I think every women in the society should be aware about menstrual cups and menstruation hygiene in our country.
